The Water Environment Association of the Philippines (WEAP), in
partnership with the Department of the Environment and Natural Resources (DENR),
conducted its annual Advanced Training Course on Pollution Officers on
June 22- 24, 2011. Part of the program of the training was an activity

JM ECOTECH SOLUTIONS CO.
celebrated the birthday of the Operations Manager, Mr. Bernie S. Chua,
under the sweltering heat of the summer sun at the La Carmela de Boracay
Resort in Boracay Island, Aklan last May 25-27, 2011. The company flew all
the way from Manila to Kalibo, then took the long, windling trip to
Caticlan where they boarded a ferry ride to island. The tropical paradise
greeted the company with its lush scenery and clear blue waters separated
by the pristine white beaches, everything that Boracay is known worldwide
for.

16 April 2010 - Recognition Rites for Outstanding Pollution Control
Officer
The Laguna Lake Development Authority recently conducted a Recognition
Rites for the Outstanding Pollution Control Officer (PCO)'s in Camelot
Hotel, Quezon City.
The event was an overwhelming success and was even made more exciting as
our very own Miss Earth of 2008, Karla Paula G. Henry, graced the occasion
and rendered an inspirational speech to the delight of the audience.

15-19 June 2009-Commissioning of the TYD Oil Purifying Machine
JM Ecotech
Solutions Co (ECOTECH) has recently commissioned the TYD Series Oil
Purifier Machine, a new addition to its Oil Treatment Facility. The
machine is specially designed for removing high water content in oil. It
is also very effective in removing other particulates, residuals and
impurities in oils such as bio-diesel, bunker oil from ship vessels,
lubricant oil series as well as light oil series.

Commences landfill disposal at Metro Clark Waste Management Corp
The conception or Metro Clark Waste Management Corp (MCWM) was the result
of the Implementation of Ecological Waste Management Philippine Republic
9003. It has a landfill facility of 77 hectares, with a total capacity of
20 MILLION TONS.
MCWM is a DENR-EMB accredited landfill for final disposal of Industrial
Waste, Treated Toxic & Hazwaste, Municipal Waste, Healthcare Waste,
Household Waste, and other waste similar to ordinary/normal waste.
